How do I express in words how much this event meant to me?

I’ve spent the last 5 years creating purposeful products and events in hope to leave an impact on our community. I have no doubt we have been able to do that with the past collaborations and events. But this very special event is the heart of why I am so persistent and consistent in my business. It is so important that we support, encourage, and empower each other through life’s hard times. As women, we are natural nurturers and healers that belong in community so we can share, or support each other.

Life has gotten so off balance the last few years with everyone being so isolated. Even before the pandemic was an epidemic of loneliness that was higher than it ever has been in history. With the use of social media, we were already distancing ourselves from each other because we could easily find out ‘how you were feeling’ by checking on facebook or texting. Giving each other brief snap shots of what was going on, and because of judgment, shame, or other wise the answer would most likely be … I’m fine.

You’re NOT FINE, and that’s okay! None of us are fine. It’s hard to live, love, and simply be in this world and that’s okay because you’re not alone. We created a time and space to come together and learn tools from a very special woman that had her own 13 year journey of personal healing and transformation. It left us so inspired, and bless.

Thank you Shelby for sharing a piece of your story with all of us!
