GREETINGS FROM THE BoMa!

Hello March and Hello Spring!

March in Ohio has brought us everything from 68 degree weather to snow. It’s hard to decide from one moment to the next if we should grab our hats and scarves for our hikes, or shorts and tank tops for a bike ride? Either way, we know summer is around the corner and we are anticipating outdoor fun! Brian and I are loving our time together dreaming about all the entertaining and gardening we’ll do this year on our NEW property. Thoughts about how to become more sustainable, from every day living to our product packaging are also in the works. In between all that excitement, we are gearing up for Market season. We missed seeing all your faces, and doing life with you! We can’t wait to get back out there.

I’m also THRILLED to announce we finally received an offer on our Canton house and should close mid-April. Our years spent in that house were always full of laughter and love. We made sure family and friends knew our doors was open and food was readily available for hungry teenagers. (and BOY were they hungry) My friends called us the “Parenthood” house. If you’ve ever watched that show, you know what I’m talking about.

With this chapter of our lives closing soon, it will allow us to start construction on the Boho Barn! We’ve been dreaming up all the endless possibilities this space will have to offer for us, but most importantly for YOU. I’m not going to lie, I do feel a little like Noah building an ark in the middle of a dessert, with no water in sight. But there is NOT a doubt in my mind on whether it should happen, it’s more on how. We are taking our time to make sure we partner up with the right people to bring this vision to life. And just like everything else - God is bringing the right people along side us.

All we’ve wanted to do from the start of our business is serve you and be an impact to others - but instead you’ve transformed ours lives! THE BIG MOVE TO THE LITTLE HOUSE

It’s been a little over a month since the BIG move and every day it’s feeling a little more like home. We’re enjoying the processes of dreaming, and researching to make sure the Boho Barn is functional for our businesses, and an inviting environment for you! Currently, all that is happening in this space is: A muddy mess from all the snow melting and we’re filling it up with ‘all the things’ we don’t have a home for YET.

Yep, all the excitement of downsizing and moving into a smaller house with no attic, no garage, and no basement (no basement because I’ve taken over for my workshop), .. the barn has become the gathering place? It started with us bringing over the Wellness Wagon from storage and placing it inside to keep it from weathering. Living in the city we were not allowed to have her on our property without getting a call or letter from our HOA, so we had to pay for storage all these years. Imagine our excitement when we pull her into our driveway without any concerns for breaking rules!

Then we needed a place for our kaiaks, bikes, camping gear, christmas decorations … you see where I’m going with this! What will we do once we’re actually ready to start working on the barn and have to find move everything out. That will be the next adventure of living #lifeonthebrink.

It’s a bit chaotic at times in our life, but its still so wonderful to be able to do what we love and serve you. We are doing the best we can to find joy in this journey and This is where I remind myself to continue to work like it depends on me, pray like it depends on God, and watch the miracle unfold smack dab in the middle of it all!
