‘Someday’ we will gather to celebrate our community in this finished building. I don’t know when, and the processes is going much slower then I would like. But I know everything happens in it’s right time, RIGHT?! While I’ve been busy making products and collaborating with some pretty amazing women, Brian’s been gathering quotes for the barn. Everything from the roof, windows, doors, solar panels, cement, heating/cooling … you can only imagine all the things that go into this? All the while watching building supplies sky rocket and contractors so busy they are months out of starting any new projects! There’s so much that goes into creating this sacred space and bringing this vision to life. We can’t help but at times swing back and forth between overwhelmed and excited. It can be so scary to step out in Faith, and into the unknown. But at the same time we both agree we are a part of something bigger than ourselves and this energizes us. While working to see this project through, we’ve had everything happen to us from finding a snake in our car at a market to drilling a new well on the property! It sure has been an adventure the last few months! But we are leaning into it and embracing the process of our journey. It will get done in God’s perfect timing, and when it does we hope you will join us in the celebration. Meanwhile, another dream has come to life - we have Hives on the property from Lees Bees & Honey! We are incredibly honored to collaborate with this AMAZING woman owned business to host her little pollinators on the property. This brings us one step closer to our homesteading dreams. We still have such a long way to go in this area as well, but every time we look out back - in our minds eye we can see the DREAM coming to life.
