How did I get started? If you haven’t guessed yet, my mom is The Bohemian Mama and my dad is a freelance graphic designer. Two creative entrepreneurs come together and BAM, a creative musician / entrepreneur was born.
My first love has always been music. I began my journey at 7 years old playing the guitar. My Freshman year of High School I joined the worship team at church, & was playing weekly with other musicians. Being surrounded by other creative musicians really inspired me and help me grow. Also, a HUGE part of my musical growth was being involved in choir. I spent a lot of time singing and performing in multiple productions.
The next stage of my creative journey was learning video production. I started multiple YouTube channels that I did the filming and editing for. One with a friend where we did challenges, a gaming/ editing channel, and another I share more cinematic videos & music. You can check out those channels here: Mateas, Andrew Brinkman, Dreemz.
Fashion and it’s culture has been another outlet for my creativity. I was encouraged to express myself and not be afraid to be different at a very young age. I have always wanted to design my own shirt and create my own clothes. So, in my attempt to raise money for music equipment, I designed my first ‘Always Tired’ long sleeve T, and sold over 60 shirts. I was inspired to created this shirt after having Mono my Junior year. This began a new creative outlet for me to enjoy and share while helping fund my music.
This Fall, I start music school and will be focusing on music production. I’ve already written and arranged a number of songs and am looking forward to learning and growing in this area. My goal is to grow my craft, create without boundaries, and inspire others to do what they love.
Which brings me now to how you can join me on this creative journey!
